By the way, while the clip is about female drivers, I would argue there are likely just as many bad male drivers on the streets as female drivers.
Keeping the streets safe

After watching this clip, I have to wonder whether there is a better way to license drivers. The public sector apparently does not adequately measure whether or not an individual can responsibly handle a motor vehicle. Might a private market--with numerous competing licensing companies--work at least as well as the public system we have now. How might this work? I honestly have yet to think through it fully. But, I would have to think that in a market where reputation matters--low percentage of licensed drivers being cited in an accident--the situation would have to be better, right?
